One month with two kids!

So yes it has been a crazy month. Logan is being a newborn and only sleeping when he thinks he should. Actually he hasn't been that bad, Tyler was much worse at sleeping in the beginning. But the best part of all has been that in the month Ty has been sick twice, Jake twice, Logan once and me once. Great fun, here are a few pictures of the poor little guy, he is so stuffed up, has the worst cough and has lost his voice so he can't make any noise when he cries. I know at first it sounds OKthe no crying but he tries so hard and it comes out as this horse little whisper, it is so sad!
He is so sick :(
But we still kinda got a smile out of him
Now he is just getting mad at the camera
the only way he would sleep is with Daddy.

Logan Duke Johnson

Ok, So he is finally here, sorry it took so long to post but really, I am just glad that I can focus and make it through the days right now. He was born on Jan. 5, 2010 at 2:07 in the afternoon. Not to exciting of a birth I had a scheduled c-section because of my previous delivery with Tyler and boy when they told me he was 9lbs. 3 ounces and 22 1/2" long I was happy I had gone with the c-section, and I was really REALLY happy I did when they told me his head was 14 inches!!!!! That was so not going to happen. We were in the hospital for three days and then came home to a very excited four year old big brother. Tyler really is loving having Logan here although he does have his moments when he wants to send him back but we are working through it. Having Grandma and Grandpa Montague and Grandma Johnson here has been a huge help, especially with Ty. Things are starting to settle, except the whole not sleeping thing which makes me think I really must be crazy for doing this all over again, but that only lasts till I see both my boys, that makes anything worth it. Wow a year ago I was seriously doubting having any more kids, thank heavens for little miracles (and birth control that didn't work :) we have two beautiful boys. This pregnancy was scary but not as bad as we thought it would be and we may still have more kids, but not too soon.

Pictures of Logan

So here are a few pictures of Logan no middle name yet Johnson. I know they are hard to see ultra sound pictures but now he is big enough that you can see he is a baby. Thankfully things are going very good with the pregnancy and now I only have to go to the doctor ever four weeks versus the every two that I had been doing. It made that first few months seem like forever. And at 32 weeks I go twice a week which will be a pain but I am so happy that they are so on top of things. Not too much longer and he will be here! His Big Brother is so exited he can hardly stand it! They will be great friends! And even though you can't see it in these pictures, Logan totally has Jake's nose!

Preschool!!!!

These are a few pictures from preschool. He loved this little puppy Star, it was hard to get him to leave! He goes to school on a farm so he gets to chase chickens and feed the baby cows and play with all sorts of other animals while he learns. He loves it and gets so excited to do his "homework" in the evening! Jake and I are still in denial that our little man is growing up, but soon we will have a new little baby!

This is the first day and he was so excited I couldn't get him to stand still! So these are the best pictures I could do.

He really needs a hair cut!

Really old Pictures

I finally uploaded pictures from my camera so here are some old pictures of horse back riding with my Dad. And it was the baby's first ride although I had no idea!!!

We are at a national park about 15 min. from our house.

Reasons I love Being a MOM!

OK I promise I will put up more pictures soon, maybe this week since preschool is starting!
But a few things that I love about having my little man I wanted to add first.
1. Being woken up at 5:30 on Sunday morning with "SHHHH mom we are spies, get your gun and follow me"
2. Hearing him yell "How do you like me now?" While he plays Lego Star Wars on the XBox
3. When I ask him to do something and he says no so I ask him why, his response is "power to the people" and he runs away.
4. He is so excited to be a big brother he always looks for diapers at the store and tells me I need to rest for the baby.
5. Every night before bed as I am leaving he says " one more kiss Mommy, please?" How could I ever say no?

He is so much fun and on most mornings he greats me with "so what do you want to do first today Mommy?" I am just sad that this stage will be over all too soon. But I know we have lots more fun to come!
